Your Role as Commercial Insurance Account Executive:

As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you will play a critical role in managing and growing a book of Commercial Lines accounts. This position requires strong relationship-building skills, in-depth insurance knowledge, and the ability to identify client needs and deliver expert coverage solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Account Management & Client Service

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships

  • Provide expert coverage advice and solutions tailored to client needs

🔹 Policy Administration & Renewal Management

  • Oversee policy renewals, ensuring smooth and timely delivery

  • Identify gaps in coverage and present proactive solutions

  • Work closely with carriers and internal teams to secure the best coverage options

🔹 Business Development & Growth

  • Drive growth through account rounding, cross-selling, and upselling

  • Seek opportunities to expand accounts and generate referrals

🔹 Other Duties as Assigned


What You Need to Succeed:

Key Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Relationship-focused mindset with a passion for client satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of commercial insurance experience

  • Active Property & Casualty license (required)

  • Strong underwriting and coverage knowledge

  • Experience with carrier rating systems and AMS360 (a plus)
